Black Star Graphics is a graphic design and production company located in Moorpark and has been in business since 1993.

How We Work

Determining your needs and objectives
We like to sit down with our clients and discuss what it is you want to accomplish. What are your requirements? What are your concerns and constraints? Depending on your needs and additional discussion, we can propose a budget and timetable.

Design stages – concept to final
Whether your needs are promotion and print, or web design and internet services, we work through the process with you, from conceptual design through production of the final product. With our teamwork approach, we help you make sure your customers get the information you want them to have by developing materials that best serve the needs of your business.

We usually work up several design ideas, and we email them to you as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Sometimes we hit it the first time; sometimes two or three design rounds are required. Once you’ve approved the concepts, we’ll translate them into finished drafts for comment and final revision.

Printing
Full color printing has never been more economical. We offer competitive pricing, personalized service and superior quality color printing. We can also offer short runs of color laser prints.

Design and Production Costs
We provide a written estimate of design, production, and printing costs based on our discussion with you. It includes the delivery of electronic files, Illustrations, photographs, and other artwork acquired at your request. Additional charges may include color proofs, express shipping, messengers and other miscellaneous expenses. Our practice is to request a 50% deposit before beginning work with the balance due upon completion.
